  • Redesigned website for the Trinidad and Tobago embassy in the UK.

  • Taught web software applications to the employees of contracted companies

  • Worked with Trinidad carnival designers doing photo shoots and magazine design

  • Did graphic design work for the Trinidad and Tobago Department of National Security

  • Did contract multimedia design work for Fairview Research. Worked on streaming video and distribution project

MARYLAND INSTITUTE COLLEGE OF ART                                                                              2002-2007

Professor, Electronic Media and Culture

  • Adjunct professor for a class titled EMAC (Electronic Media and Culture) which introduced freshmen to the design software applications and digital art culture.

Coordinator of Foundation Advising
  • Worked primarily with incoming freshmen as they struggle academically and emotionally, to get through their first year at college.

  • Worked with Faculty Advisors, in an effort to form a cohesive advising team, so our students would be better served during this first year.

  • Every effort was made, by this advising team, to help students develop proper time management and professional development skills.

 

Director, Jamaica Study Abroad (2003 to 2008)

  • Designed the Jamaica summer program which ran during the month of July, every summer.

  • The program was designed so students could travel to Jamaica and make art, while experiencing the culture of the country.

  • Students were encouraged to work independently and it was my job to facilitate this.

  • Was responsible for a budget of approximately US$30,000, two assistants and no more than 15 students.

MICROPATENT LLC, A THOMSON BUSINESS                                                                         2001-2007

Web/Multimedia Designer, East Haven, CT (part-time)

  • Designed the static pages for MicroPatent’s websites

  • Worked with programmers to make the sites function dynamically

  • Helped in the design of sell sheets for new products

  • Designed multimedia CD-ROM's for MicroPatent
